Sierra Leone Engineering Solutions NGO, is aspiring to construct a wind turbine, on pilot scale, for the first time in the country, so as to accelerate socioeconomic developments and alleviate poverty. The Sierra Leone Engineering Solutions, is to be created and associates as a community based initiative and Non Governmental Organization, with intentions to actively involved and participate, to help solve urgent issues and problems, such as climate change control, gender equality, energy, water supply and sanitation, etc. The shortages or the lack of services and facilities, such as the access to electricity, supply of quality water and sanitation, are very acute in the country, and which over the years had contributed to a steady decline and the depreciation of human resources, mainly through lack of essential health services and facilities. Our current position, is to monitor and fast track the 17 SDG’s, as established by the UN. In this regards, our emphasis is ensure for environmental sustainability, develop global partnership for development, promote gender equality, and the empowerment of women. The proposed organization, is to be grounded on the principles of democratic governance, that is meant to be the driving force and stimulus, that is deem necessary and essential for an all inclusive, equitable human resources development. We intend to provide the potentials and opportunities for people and deprived areas and communities, to drive change and exercise choice, so as to improve on their lives. Therefore, if the aspirations of the Government of Sierra Leone, to attain and achieve the SDG’S, by the year 2035, it will requires a strong political and social will and convictions, at both the national and international levels, and that which only can be achieved, when the poor and marginalised groups, are empower with a strong voice and freedom of decision making, consultations and the implementations of development plans and strategies
