COMMUNITY SENSITIZATION MEETINGS WITH SUPPORT FROM GLOBAL GREENGRANTS FUND.

WEDO-SL organized three sensitization meetings, one day in each of the project communities, Tankoro Chiefdom which was held in Tankoro Administrative Hall on the 13th May, 2022, Gbense Chiefdom at sustainable development Hall on the 19th of May, 2022 and Nimikor Chiefdom meeting was held in Jaiama Administrative Hall on the 24th of May, 2022.. Each meeting targeted 50 participants including key stakeholders, local authorities, youths, women, men, government ministry and agency, civil society organizations etc.
Furthermore prevalent environmental issues were discussed i.e, mining, timber logging, charcoal burning etc.
Training of women advocates on environmental and climate change mitigation and adaptation method, conducted radio discussion environmental and climate change mitigation and adaptation method.
